There are some parts of the world that, once visited, get into your heart and won’t go. For me, India is such a place. When I first visited, I was stunned by the richness of the land, by its lush beauty and exotic architecture, by its ability to overload the senses with the pure, concentrated intensity of its colors, smells, tastes, and sounds… I had been seeing the world in black & white and, when brought face-to-face with India, experienced everything re-rendered in brilliant technicolor. — Keith Bellows, National Geographic Society
India attracts millions of travelers from all over the globe with incredible sites of Himalayas to the north, beaches to the south, desert to the west, and tribal region to the east. Travelers who are visiting India for the first time, makes them wish they stayed a little longer in our Incredible India. India has so much to explore, but seriously, a lifetime is not enough.
Reasons to Travel only in INDIA:
The People "Ever Smiling Faces":
The people of India, particularly in the rural areas, are some of the most generous and most friendly people I have met in all my journeys. Whether you’re invited for a meal or just simply stroll on the streets and encounter children playing, you will definitely be touched by the kindness of the locals. From a helpful heart to an ever-smiling face, I bet Indians are the best when it comes to welcoming travelers with open arms.
The Food:
Food is the essence of India. You will find mouth-watering menus and dishes at every curve of this food-loving country. You’ll taste lots of thick, creamy curries that are slightly spicy in the North and are inspired by Mughlai styles of cooking. My favorites include Parathas, Roti’s, and Tandoori chicken. South Indian dishes are characterized by the use of ingredients. My favorite south Indian dishes were Masala dosas, Mutton dum biryani, and Prawns pulao. Vegetarian food is also well catered in India, due to the large proportion of Hindus who are vegetarians.
The Kingdom of luxury:
India is an architecturally diverse country filled with forts, palaces, mosques, temples, monuments, and ancient ruins. From the Nawabs of Rajasthan to Nizams of Hyderabad, India houses many palaces and forts in which travelers indulge in royal luxury. There are 32 UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites across the nation at present, making India a delight for history buffs and design enthusiasts.
land of Spirituality:
In India, spirituality is intricately involved with everyday life. Observing the locals engaging in their daily rituals is a deeply devoted experience. India has changed the face of spiritual travel and offers many retreats that enables travelers to find spirituality, training yoga or attending a meditation retreat in an ashram.
Nature's Paradise:
India is a land of natural wonders. The major attractions are the Himalayas in the north. Himalayan geography is itself so distinct that one can find forests, glacial rivers, and mountain peaks. If you travel down to the south, natural diversity will become more evident. Surrounded by water bodies in all the three sides, this part has some of the most attractive beaches. Mountains make their presence in the south also. Thus, a beach lover is never too far from the hill stations. For all the nature lovers, the best travel tip I’d like to give is, come to India and the journey will lead you directly into the lap of nature. From East to West and North to South, India is filled with natural beauty.
